This is a list of documents most lenders will require in order to process your mortgage application.
Please make sure to make copies of these items and bring them with you to your application appointment.
- Most recent 1 months pay stubs
- W2 forms for the last 2 years (Federal tax returns if self employed or
commissioned)
- Last 3 month’s bank statements (including any retirement or investment
accounts)
- Agreement of sale for property you are buying and selling
- Divorce decree and property settlement( if applicable)
- Copy of a valid driver’s license.
- Property tax information (found on the MLS listing sheet)
- If child support is being used to qualify, a copy of the order stating the
amount of the support and proof you have been receiving it for
at least 3 months.
Keep in mind that different lenders may have slightly different information requirements, so ask your lender what to bring to your initial loan interview.
